Before 1958 the building was operated under the names of 'Minko's Inn' and later 'Lakeview Inn', which was owned by the D'agastino family who were relatives of Kay and Vic Campagna.
In 1958 Kay and Vic purchased the restaurant from their relatives and started the "Kay's" tradition! At that time, most of the area consisted of seasonal residents who returned each summer to enjoy the lakes. Kay and Vic lived upstairs each summer and served their guests fresh, hot, pizza made from the family recipe.
These recipes are the ones you still enjoy today. As the business has transitioned ownership, the recipes have been sold along with the historic building and legendary experience.
Kay's is a seasonal family restaurant open from early April until mid-October.
We are a casual restaurant great for the whole family.
We are proud of our pizza as well as the unique atmosphere that our regulars look forward to every season.
Pizza is our specialty but we do have a fairly large menu to please even the pickiest of people. Bring your family, your friends, your kids and enjoy our award winning pizza with an icy cold beverage.
Located between the 2nd and 3rd Burden Lake, we are a hidden gem people travel from all around to enjoy.
